Meet The Team

After a successful career in business, having been part of the management team of two IPOs. Roberto founded FC Copa Academy in 2004 and has built it into one of the premier clubs in US. Having placed hundreds of players into collegiate and professional soccer programs while coaching many of them to state, regional and national championships. Passionate about the sport of soccer, Roberto is also the Founder, CEO and Co-Owner of the United Women’s Soccer national pro-am league and the owner of the USL2 men's and UWS women's NJ Copa FC teams. 

One of the few female executives in the youth soccer community, Lori has been the Vice President and Director of Education of FC Copa Academy for the last two decades. An all state soccer player at New Providence HS and 2 time Academic All American at the University of Scranton, she was a record setting goal scorer at both institutions and a Collegiate Hall of Famer. Prior to Copa, Lori was a Guidance Counselor at Saint Peter’s Prep and has used that experience to initiate the Academic Guidance program at FC Copa Academy, assisting student athletes of all ages.

Over the past decade, Steve has been in many different areas of the fitness industry, continuing to further his education while holding multiple certifications.  He started training and managing at gyms such as Equinox, Orange Theory, and F45 before moving into the coaching of athletic performance.  Since then, Steve has coached and created programs for collegiate and highschool athletes as well as youth sport teams and players. Through our classes and individual training sessions, he’ll help our athletes push their potential to perform at their highest level.

David is originally from Plymouth, England, and currently holds his UEFA B & USSF B Licenses soccer coaching. He graduated from the University of St. Mark and St. John Plymouth (Marjon) with a bachelors degree in Sports Development. With extensive experience at the Director level of youth soccer creating, developing & implementing programs, over the past ten years. David serves as the USL Director for FC Copa Academy in both New Jersey and New York and will lead the organization's USL Academy. David will lead soccer programing development and implementation at the Performance Sports Center.
